Proud sponsor of a regional running event

On Sunday, September 29, the 27th Meringer Marktlauf, a local running competition, took place in chilly temperatures but bright sunshine. FORUM MEDIA GROUP, based in the Bavarian village of Merching, has been a proud partner of the event in the neighboring community for several years.

The event offers the perfect race for every age group and fitness level: from the 10 km main race and the 2 km charity run to the school and Bambini races, there is something for everyone. Among the 300 or so participants who took part this year were athletes from Mering’s French twin town Ambérieu-en-Bugey. The FORUM MEDIA GROUP was on site as a sponsor – and put young and old alike in a good mood with its dog mascot. Employees and their children also took part in the run at the group’s expense.

“We are happy to be a sponsor of the Meringer Marktlauf because the event offers a successful sporting challenge for young and old and impresses year after year with its warm and positive atmosphere,” says Katrin Krauß-Herkert, CFO of the FORUM MEDIA GROUP, who took part in the run herself. She praised the successful organization by TV Mering with its many volunteers.
